Data access and control

Initially, the SELF team has access to anonymized user preference data, in order to be able to develop and optimize various aspects of SELF. However, user data is never sold to a third party; the user controls all of it and can delete anything, at any time. Our ambition is to completely shut off the SELF team’s access to anonymized user data once development has progressed. When this happens, everything the users share with SELF will be completely between them and SELF. In due time, the storage of that data will be decentralized through the utilization of breakthrough Information-Theoretic Security solutions, in contrast to being stored on a centralized database protected by high levels of encryption.
